Cork Harbour Festival returns this June from the 1st to the 10th with 10 days packed full of maritime fun! Highlighting Cork's greatest natural amenities, Cork Harbour and the river Lee, the festival programme includes events throughout Cork City and County. The flagship event Ocean to City - An Rás Mór, Ireland’s very own long-distance rowing race attracting hundreds of participants from all over the world will take place on Saturday 8th June.
This year’s festival offers over 80 events in a dozen beautiful locations across Cork City and Cork Harbour, including Myrtleville, Cobh, Crosshaven, Whitegate, Ringaskiddy, Fountainstown, Spike Island, East Ferry, Monkstown, and city locations such as Marina Park, Cork City Marina, Lee Fields, Blackrock, Crawford Art Gallery, Lapp’s Quay and Nano Nagle Place.
The festival highlights the best attractions and activities in Cork Harbour, the river lee and the Cork coastline. Featuring on water and land activities that explore fascinating maritime history, cultural experiences and heritage sites, we have something for everyone of all ages and all activity levels. Water sports, talks, walks, storytelling, exhibitions, orienteering, family activities, theatre experiences, poetry and heritage are all presented as part of the 2024 Cork Harbour Festival programme.
