The Twister Pepper has survived their very first year, and to celebrate they have a whole day and night of events and happenings ranging from art, photos , talks and comedy early evening to a serious range of music and AV later on. The party kicks off in the Cafe at 4pm. Jim Carroll will get things going with his Banter "Review of the Decade". There'l also be talks and music selections streaming live on the BT web, Comedy Ireland in the Stage with Dead Cat Bounce, leading into POGO with BT favourite Carl Craig in the Basement with POGO residents. Detroit house & techno supastar, renowned producer, remixer, DJ and record label owner Carl Craig is one of the few artist who can truly claim to have shaped the sound of modern electronic music. Making music since the tender age of 17, Craig has created everything from ambient soundscapes to jazz during the past 20 years, but it's his work in dance music that is at his core. He recently release a long overdue double mix CD, 'Sessions', which brings together a personal selection of Carl's incredible back catalogue - a retrospective of one of the world's most influential and groundbreaking figures in electronic music. Jim Carroll's On the Record hosting the Stage with the recently signed Dark Room Notes (actually the 1st band to ever play POGO), Not Squares & Jim himself on the wheels. In the Mezz it'll be a Mud & Mr Jones take over with Melodee, Shortie & SixFootApprentice, while a selection of non-Djing Twisted Pepper regulars will rock theSilent Disco in the Cafe.
