Robert Lepage returns to our shores after his sell out show in 2003 with Far Side of the Moon. This time he brings us, The Blue Dragon which is a sequel to the 1985 masterpiece The Dragons' Trilogy.
Set in modern China, the lead character, an artist who resurfaces in Shanghai, marks the return of the original plays leading man. He meets a former classmate and a young Chinese artist. Their encounters open unexpected doors and bring about some fundamental changes that will change their lives.
This was co-written by Robert Lepage and won the 2007 Europe Theatre Prize.
