This August, Tuam Stadium will host Galway's latest outdoor music festival SugarBeat. The event will comprise ten musical acts on two stages between 1.30pm and 10.30pm and will be complemented by an on-site food & beverage village. 'SugarBeat' will bring Ireland's best acts to the west as well as offering new and upcoming bands a platform to showcase their talents. The one day music festival will see the town of Tuam, once the home of Ireland's thriving sugar beet industry, host some of Ireland's most talented musicians. Acts include Damien Dempsey, Mundy & Band, Raglans, Keywest and many more. Damien Dempsey, described by Rolling Stone magazine as "the best thing, to come out of Ireland in the last 10 years" will headline the gig. Tickets are already on sale and are selling fast. They are available from the SugarBeat website and are keenly priced. Children are welcome at the festival provided they also hold a valid ticket and are accompanied by a parent or guardian. For further information see Facebook and Twitter or the official SugarBeat website.
