The Irish superstar is headlining an event that will be broadcast around the world.

Our mate Niall Horan will be headlining an event called 'The Best of the Pub', which will showcase various Irish talents, all from, well, a pub. The iconic O’Donoghue’s pub in Dublin will be the centre point for the evening, which will kick off at 17.59 on St. Patrick's Day.

Niall will be taking part, but he'll be dialling in from his local Irish pub in London, The Toucan. We can expect a specially created, unplugged and intimate set from the singer, and there promises to be some surprises... Watch this space.

With us all missing the inside of one, 'The Best of the Pub' will be a global celebration of all the elements that make an Irish pub magic. Whether it’s an intimate music session, storytelling, a cheese toastie, or a pint of the black stuff, the event will craft that unique experience while we're all at home this year.

As part of the day also, pubs from around the world will be turning green in partnership with Guinness and Tourism Ireland. Their 'Guinness Global Pub Greening' will see pubs from Dublin to Derry, the Himalayas to Surfer’s Paradise and everywhere in between shine their brightest greens for the day that's in it. The Guinness Storehouse, the Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Baltimore, USA as well as Guinness HQ in countries like Kenya and Uganda will also turn green for the occasion.
