Newcastle Arts Festival has made it to year three! After the roaring success of NAF 2012 they're back with more to tempt, entertain and educate you whilst adding a little extra culture to your lives. NAF are pleased to announce Translink have come on board as a partner to this year's festival plus they have a new 'Spirit of Percy French' literary drama and art section culminating with a concert with Colum Sands.

With so many great performances and workshops across a fantastic range of art forms giving precedence to any one in particular is a tough call. So here's a taster of what's in store. They are pleased to collaborate with the Newcastle Community Cinema (NCC) in hosting the recently released Good Vibrations film. Key players in the making of the film will come to town accompanied by punk legends The Outcasts.

The big kids' event this year looks set to surpass last year's Mad Hatter's Tea Party. NAF are throwing a Wizard of Oz extravaganza so be sure to get booked early for that one. With music galore, fabulous workshops and even some magic added to the mix, plus much more, Newcastle Arts Festival is set to be another big hit. And rumour has it that those cheeky yarnbombers SOCK (Secret Outside Crocheters and Knitters) have something planned for us too. Ticket information depends upon the event.
