The former Oasis frontman has announced a special gig for Irish fans ahead of the release of his new album.
Liam Gallagher will rock a Dublin show at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham on Saturday, August 27. Tickets go on sale at 10 am next Thursday, February 17 from Ticketmaster.
The announcement comes ahead of the singer/songwriter's forthcoming third solo album 'C'mon You Know', which will be released on May 27. His previous releases 'As You Were' and 'Why Me? Why Not' have been runaway successes, both earning themselves number one spots on the UK albums charts (number one and number two in Ireland).
We’ve come to expect big things from Liam Gallagher, but his plans for 2022 are "biblical" even by his high standards. Gallagher says of his arrival in Dublin later this year: "I'm absolutely buzzing to announce that on 27th August 2022 I'll be playing Royal Hospital Kilmainham. It's gonna be biblical. C'mon You Know. LG x"
Tickets are priced from €69.50 inclusive of booking fee.
The last time Liam Gallagher hosted a Dublin show was at The 3Arena in November 2019, playing two huge sold-out gigs. Late last year the rocker was forced to cancel a Belfast gig due to injuring himself by falling out of a helicopter.
Speaking of helicopters, Gallagher debuted his new single 'Everything's Electric' from his forthcoming album on the Brit Awards stage during the week, flying in in style on a private chopper.
