For the fifth consecutive year gastronomic and cultural festival, Taste of Mexico, will showcase food, drinks and music from all over the 32 states of Mexico with a week-long programme of events in Dublin, running from 17th to 22nd of November.
If the daily queues outside Boojum are anything to go by, there is a huge appetite for Mexican food in Ireland and the Taste of Mexico festival aims to tap into that, while also promoting the huge variety of foods that make up Mexican cuisine. It's the perfect way to distract yourself from the cold and windy Irish weather.
For those who wish to learn more about Mexican cooking, there are workshops taking place on Wednesday and Thursday nights, while those who just want to sample the food and drink can attend one of the many tasting sessions that will be taking place throughout the week.
Tequila expert Jose Torres Dias, mezcal expert Silvia Phillion and chef Helma Honda will be leading the sessions, and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
