The Bram Stoker Festival is the city's annual Halloween celebration, named for the Dublin born Dracula author.
They're back for 2017 with a full programme of events, aimed at both adults and children. Take a look at something of the things happening in Dublin One this bank holiday weekend:
Dublin One institution Penneys will be getting in the Halloween spirit with a Bram Stoker themed window display and fancy dress competition for staff. The Jervis Centre will have family entertainment all weekend while The Ilac Centre will have their entertainment set up on Saturday afternoon. Shops in both centres will be offering great discounts to their customers including 20% off all denim in Diesel, 15% off in Carraig Donn and 30% off selected lines in Miss Selfridge
A family fun entertainment zone will set up at the junction of Henry Street and Liffey Street with giant games, face painting and live performers. The Macnas parade is always the highlight of the Bram Stoker and it will be making its way through Dublin One from 6pm on Monday night. The route starts on Moore Street, turns onto Henry Street and then turns onto Jervis Street. Pick a spot a long the parade route and enjoy the magic.
For those looking for a night out, The Church have you covered. Where better to celebrate Halloween than a 300 year old church? There's drinks offers and live music all weekend and also prizes for the best fancy dress so make sure your costume is just right.
