The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival 2012 returns from 26th - 29th October 2012, when it will once again become Europe's jazz capital for the weekend. Each year the festival goes from strength to strength with a superb programme of world class jazz and jazz related sounds playing in some of Cork's most iconic venues like Cork Opera House and The Everyman Theatre.
The festival attracts the best international/Irish talent and this year is no different. Among the top acts you can expect to see: Beach House, Chris Dave & Drumhedz, Hot 8 Brass Band, De La Soul. Cathy Davey, Ham Sandwich, Miles Smiles, Natalie Williams, Gregory Porter and Mixtapes From The Underground.
Besides the main lineup there's also a superb music trail packed with free gigs, a buzzing festival club, street entertainment, workshops, lectures, a jazz choir, a jazz camp for student musicians and The Big Jazz Fringe Festival.
