Cork International Short Story Festival: 18th - 22nd September 2013

Clifden Arts Festival: 19th - 29th September 2013
Clifden Community Arts Week will be celebrating its 36th anniversary in 2013, and is a great celebration of the Arts which include poetry readings, lectures, recitals, traditional music, concerts, comedy and more, all enjoyed in a wonderful and relaxed atmosphere in one of the most beautiful places on the West Coast. Slow Food apple and Craft Cider Festival: 20th - 22nd September 2013
The Slow Food Apple & Craft Cider Festival is a celebration of Irish apples and their importance to the culture and history of South Tipperary. This family friendly festival will feature lots of events for old and young, with great fun activities for children. Culture Night: 20th September 2013

Surf and Sea Festival Tramore: 21st - 29th September
Originally designed to encourage more women to participate in the sport of surfing, and with its roots in a community traditional celebration of 'Michaelmas', the Surf & Sea Festival has now grown to include activities and events for all the family from organised beach games and pony rides for the younger members to a dog show, arts and craft workshops, photo and art exhibitions, extreme sport exhibitions, historical and cultural walking tours as well as eco-friendly coastal walks and workshop advice. Read more.
