Enniscorthy Street Rhythms Dance Festival begins with Friday evening parade of dancers, musicians and street performers followed by a dance concert in Market Square and a spectacular opening ceremony.
Saturday starts with Baby Bop (with Barney, Mickey Mouse and friends) for the tiny tots, local dance schools and local national and secondary schools performing their unique style of dance all around the town, and free workshops to give a taste of hip hop, hula hoop, Zumba, line dancing, salsa and much more.
On Sunday, enjoy open air jazz sessions followed by international dance acts and more workshops. Other events include drum circle, puppeteer, street entertainment, market stalls, art exhibitions and some great events at Enniscorthy Castle...perhaps more fairy tales will be had! More events will be added as the programme is developed and most, if not all, events are free. Come along to Enniscorthy for a fun, family friendly event for all ages!
