The Ennis Book Club Festival promotes the pleasure of reading and encourages readers to expand the scope of their reading. Literature is the primary art form and all genres are explored. There is also music, dance, food, theatre and wonderful conversations between authors and readers. It is a unique festival as it is the only one dedicated to book clubs.

Here you will find author readings from national and international writers; workshops on reading fiction and poetry; sessions on reading lists and revisiting classics; reading group development seminars; professional development seminars for librarians; public interviews with authors; panel discussions; food demos; exhibitions; walking tours; book club gatherings; literary table quizzes; music recitals; and a great festival club!
