This June Bank Holiday, North Wall Quay will play host to the Dublin Port’s Riverfest. Organised by the Dublin Port Company and the Docklands Business Forum, expect a unique celebration along the historic quays with a jam packed programme of entertainment and family fun. In addition the festival coincides with the 50th Anniversary of the Old Gaffers Association. This special event will culminate with a rare demonstration of skills with the Howth 17s racing on the River Liffey on Saturday 1st June.

A huge array of activities are planned over the course of the weekend. Including the arrival of 6 tall ships, curragh racing on the Liffey, boat racing on the Liffey, tug boat demonstrations and much more.

Not to be outdone by the water, land activities will also play a integral part to the festival, with street performers, music, bars, face painting, and carnival attractions from the new Samuel Beckett Bridge to East Link Bridge there to entertain and satisfy crowds.

However, if food is your thing, then Riverfest is guaranteed to have something for you. This year the Markets will have a huge range of quality fresh and exciting food for food lovers to delight in.
