If you're looking for something spooky yet fabulous, mysterious yet ridiculous, then we've found just the ticket.
Some 'Drag Race' royalty will be hitting Dublin in the build-up to Halloween, with the arrival of 'Death Drop' in the Gaiety Theatre all next week.
Starring 'RuPaul's Drag Race' stars Willam and Ra’Jah O’Hara, as well as 'Drag Race UK' season one contestant Vinegar Strokes, this is set to be one killer experience not to be missed. They'll also be joined by a full cast of leading drag performers.
The whodunnit show is set in 1991 as a gaggle of guests gather on Tuck Island for a soirée like no other. The tension rises as the outrageous guests reveal their suspicious and sordid pasts, and one by one they sashay away, until at the last, nerve-shredding, side-splitting moment, the surviving guests find out whodunnit.
The 'Death Drop' play has enjoyed a sold-out run in London's West End, and is now well underway on its UK and Ireland tour. Written by and co-starring Holly Stars, this "dazzling and delightfully camp comedy" is "jam-packed with hilarious one-liners".
The Dublin Gaiety Threate dates of the performance run from Tuesday, October 26 to Sunday, October 31.
Willam said about being part of the show: "I had so much fun in the West End, I’m now excited to be touring Dublin’s Gaiety Theatre in Death Drop, a spectacular drag musical murder mystery. No spoilers please (I DID IT)."
While Vinegar Strokes, who is reprising their West End appearance, said: "Absolutely thrilled to be back on Tuck Island and visiting Dublin’s Gaiety Theatre in this killer production. Whoever wants to buy me a drink, make it a double Redrum."
Tickets for Dublin’s Gaiety Theatre shows are priced from €21 (including booking fee) and can be purchased directly from Ticketmaster.ie.
