Bray Institute of Further Education (BIFE) presents an adaptation of Dennis Kelly's 2007 play Deoxyribonucleic Acid, performed by the second year Performing Arts student group. The story centres on a group of youths who take their teasing of one of their fellow students one step too far and attempt to cover their tracks with an elaborate plan. Things begin to unravel, however, when a series of unforeseen developments threaten to change their lives forever and conflict ensues amongst the group. The cast are uniformly impressive, with Miriam Keegan excelling as the overly-chatty Lea and Desiree Kennedy and Richard Madigan also very impressive. The direction by James Corscadden is compelling and unobtrusive. Highly recommended. The play runs until 26th November in Katie Gallagher's, Bray and admission is free.
