Th eKilkenny Cat Laughs Comedy festival takes place this weekend, and US comedian and actor TJ Miller is set to make his festival debut. Miller played Weasel in the 2016 Deadpool movie, and can also be seen in TV series Silicon Valley. He'll be performing on June 4th and 5th, at various venues across the city.
The festival began yesterday and runs until June 5th. In addition to Miller, an amazing line-up of Irish and international comedians will be bringing the laughs to the city.
Adam Hills, Rich Hall, Limmy, Mock the Week’s Zoe Lyons and Inside Amy Schumer's Aparna Nancherla will be leading the international contingent; Dara O’Briain, Tommy Tiernan, David O’Doherty, Al Porter, Aisling Bea, Jason Byrne, Foil Arms & Hog and many more will be representing the Irish.
An addition to this year's festival is the live recording of two of Ireland's favourite podcasts. Jarlath Regan will be interviewing TJ Miller and Game of Thrones star Jack Gleeson for An Irish Man Abroad, and The Second Captains will be doing their first ever live show.
