Body And Soul presents its own flight of fancy. A decadent secret of sorts. An independent festival with a heart shaped mind and a cutting edge soul, staging a modern celebration of the age old solstice tradition.

Kick off your sensible shoes and turn your back on ticking clocks for the summer solstice weekend. With equal attention given to the trademark colourful nooks and crannies, as to the line up itself, the sold out event was a knockout success two years running, winning 'Best New Festival' in 2010 and 'Best Small Festival' at the Irish Festival Awards, 2011.

This June 2013, the intimate other world of Body and Soul will be returning to the labyrinth of stone walled gardens, winding pathways and woodlands at Ballinlough Castle, with the same smattering of magic and mischief in a weekend, packed with an eclectic mix of live electronic and acoustic acts, holistic arts, green crafts, decadent dining, moonlit orchestras, a secluded soul kids garden, art installations and bubbling hot tubs in the forest.

The weekend will also feature Body and Soul's flamboyant Saturday night masquerade ball, where revellers are invited to slip in to costume, don a mas and dance incognito, under the stars. Signature stages are bespoke commissions created by great artists from both Ireland and abroad and to date have hosted the likes of Fat Freddys Drop, Spiritualised, the Villagers, M83, Nicolas Jaar, Lisa Hannigan, Lee Fields, Django Django, Martin Hayes, St Vincent, Joris Voorn, the Tulla Ceile Band, Lee Scratch Perry and Little Dragon. No boundaries. Enjoy!
