We welcome you to Dublin’s newest original musical Big Shot. This musical was created by a young girl from Malahide by the name of Lauryn Gaffney. Her vision, commitment and hard work has driven this musical forward over the last year which brings us to now.
The story follows a successful lawyer living in New York City named Jeremy Crocker. Jeremy's ambition in life is to own the most successful law firm in the city but finds himself becoming distracted when he falls for young, innocent Carrie; A struggling artist whose paintings are displayed on the walls of the coffee shop where she works. The love of art brings the two of them together but Crockers distraction becomes a threat to his company when he is defending Hank, a white-collar gangster who is charged with accessory to murder. Jeremy has some very tough decisions to make for not only is the man he’s defending guilty of murder but that very man is also engaged to the woman he is falling for. Tackling topics such as justice, friendship and living in the moment the original songs in this show will hopefully have an everlasting impression on you.
Our production will take to the stage in O’Reilly Theatre, Belvedere College in the heart of Dublin City the 26th and 27th of February. It is an event not to be missed by any of you musical fanatics.
