Learn a new skill, explore new career options, and discover hidden talent. The AONTAS Adult Learners' Festival takes place from February 25th to March 2nd.

This is the seventh year of the Festival with events taking place nationwide to promote learning opportunities for adults. There is something to suit every age and interest this year. For creative types, there's the opportunity to try your hand at drumming, or even Capoeira, the sixteenth century Afro Brazilian practice which combines dance with martial arts.

Map your skills to a new course or career at Blanchardstown IT; view the planet Jupiter from Gorey library or enjoy a visit to the National Print Museum in the company of one of their recently graduated tour guides. Genealogy enthusiasts can learn more about their family history and even trace their family tree during information sessions at their local library.

St Patricks Cathedral, Ireland's biggest cathedral are also offering free tours each day of the Festival at 3.30pm. AONTAS estimates that over 300,000 adults take part in some form of learning each year.
