BRITA Ireland have re-introduced their recycling initiative with Seal Rescue Ireland as part of their commitment to fighting against the damage that single use plastic does to the planet.
BRITA have been actively seeking out ways to help fight against pollution in Ireland through organisations such as Seal Rescue Ireland, whilst also working with the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Trust on an international level.
Usage of a single BRITA MAXTRA+ cartridge can reduce the use of up to 150 one litre single use plastic bottles.
From now until the end of January 2023 BRITA Ireland are inviting Irish customers to send their used BRITA cartridges by free post to their Irish distributor offices in Co. Meath. For every cartridge received they will donate €1 to Seal Rescue Ireland to support their work rehabilitating seals that have been found in distress around the coast of Ireland and to release them back to the open waters once they have recovered.
