'The Devil Wears Prada' is a cult classic with many fans and even those of us who may not love the film will still end up watching it if we stumble across it on TV because Meryl Streep is that good in it.
And while everyone's may have their own feelings about the fictional Miranda Priestly and her machinations, a deleted scene that's been making the rounds online is changing how many feel about the film.
"I'm just seeing this deleted scene from The Devil Wears Prada for the first time, and honestly it changed the whole movie for me," tweeted community manager at BuzzFeed, Spencer Althouse, and he's not wrong.
The crux of the film revolves around us believing that Miranda Priestley is truly awful and that Andi is an idiot for putting up with her BS without ever getting as much as a "Thank you" from anyone she works with so to have the following happen would have just spoiled the whole thing.

Fans of the film were quick to point out how right the filmmakers were to cut it.

Thank You does not exist in Miranda Priestly's vocabulary!

Makes Miranda vulnerable (to stupid hubby) which is not her persona. So i c y they left it out.

I don't like it. Miranda needed no one.

No wonder they deleted it. Undermined Miranda's whole ice queen narrative.

What do you think? Would it have ruined the movie or do you think it should have been left it?
