The final trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom dropped last night and given it already has over 5 million views (at the time of writing), we can tell that people all around the world are as psyched as we are for the upcoming sequel.
2015's Jurassic World holds the record for being the fourth-highest-grossing film of all time (without inflation adjustment) and its follow-up sees the return of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Blue, the velociraptor who saved the day in Jurassic World, is one of the last dinosaurs in her species, so trainer Owen (Pratt) is tasked with saving her so more scientific tests can be run. However, it becomes clear that there are other intentions behind saving Blue.
Howard’s Claire is also fighting to defend the dinosaurs while Jeff Goldblum’s Dr Ian Malcolm makes a welcome return, again warning about the chaos that could ensue if they don’t stop interfering with the prehistoric creatures.
J.A. Bayona, whose previous works include The Orphanage, The Impossible and last year’s A Monster Calls, is directing.
The trailer, which teases that the movie will be jam-packed with action and adventure as well as stunning CGI, can be viewed below:
