If you were a fan of the TV series, you're in for a treat. The opening scene of the Veronica Mars movie has gone online for all to see. The series, which ran for three seasons, focused on a young girl investigating the death of her best friend. The catch? She's also a private investigator.
It launched the career of Kristen Bell and gained a cult following. In fact, it had so much of a following that the film was almost entirely funded by donations from fans via Kickstarter. Initial thoughts? To be honest, we never really got into the original series but it has a following so this seems like it's going to be a fan favourite. Kristen Bell is always watchable so there might be something here for those who didn't watch the series during its initial run.
