Deadpool wants you to know that he isn’t just a foul-mouthed, sarcastic, wisecracking smart ass – he also has a big, pink heart.
As part of a new Omaze campaign for F— Cancer, the superhero, brought to life by the inimitable Ryan Reynolds, released a video debuting a new pink version of his costume and announced that the item will go to a lucky winner who donates to Omaze.
Reynolds explains the pink suit was for the "world to see that I have a big old heart-on...that's heart with a 't'...for my new obsession, pink — the color, not the pop singer. Personally I'm more of a Celine kind of guy."
Participants can donate anywhere between $10 and $5,000 to the cause for a chance to win the pink Deadpool suit. Donations of over $1,000 or more include other gifts, such as a signed movie poster or a personalised voicemail message recorded by Reynolds in character.
Deadpool also suggested a number of ways the suit can be utilised, such as a "colourful addition to your S&M collection" or "nailing it to a post in order to scare off birds, children and the elderly."
