It's not due in cinemas for another two years, but already Millie Bobby Brown is lining up roles post-Stranger Things.

Variety has confirmed that the young actress will have a leading role in Godzilla: King of Monsters, the follow-up to Gareth Edwards' 2014 effort. The exact details of her role have been kept under wraps, but it is known that the film is expected to begin filming at the end of this year at the very earliest.

Brown's career has gone from strength to strength since playing Eleven in Stranger Things. She's currently in contention for a Screen Actors Guild award this Sunday for her role and it's been speculated that she may have another major franchise role in the offing.

Stranger Things' second season is due to hit Netflix this summer.
