One of our favourite contemporary action heroes, Bryan Mills – the character that made Liam Neeson the most bad ass on-screen dad ever – isn’t going to be in any more movies.

Neeson talked about the role during a chat on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Colbert asked Liam Neeson if there is any possibility of there being a fourth instalment in the Taken franchise, to which Liam said: ‘No, there's not. There's only so many times your daughter can be taken.’

He also joked: ‘Actually if we do have another it will be, 'Please can you take my daughter'?’
