The internet has gone crazy the past day or so with the "news" that Jamie Dornan will not be returning for the two (at least) planned sequels to Fifty Shades of Grey.

According to reports from Australian publication NW, Dornan pulled out (sorry) of the sequels because his wife, Amelia Warner, wasn't happy with the sex scenes and attention bestowed upon the Northern Irish star.

Now, Dornan may very well be attempting to get out of a sequel; but the news is being widely reported by numerous publications with zero confirmation. Original star Charlie Hunnam dropped out of the series precisely for that reason - he didn't want to commit to the entire franchise. So Universal Pictures were probably pretty clear with Dornan that this was more than a one film deal.

Bottom line is Dornan knew exactly what he was getting himself in for and, crucially, would most certainly be contracted for more films. Simple as that. Whether he makes a fuss and pushes for a release from that contract remains to be seen, but a contract he has!

The film has made $400 million at the box office, despite some scathing reviews.
