It's been one of Spielberg's most eagerly awaited adaptations, but now finally, Ready Player One is finally in production.
The dystopian novel, set in a far-off future where the world is mostly lived in a virtual-reality construct, has been the subject of numerous attempts to adapt and, at long last, it's finally happening. On-set photos show that filming is well underway with Birmingham now being completely transformed into a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
