Director Ron Howard has given fans a sneak peak inside the editing room of the standalone Star Wars spin-off as he and his team get it ready ahead of its summer release.
On Instagram Howard posted: "Working on opening graphics up at #skywalkerranch. Gotta admit, pinching myself a few times a day as we put on the finishing touches up here", before following that up with a picture of himself and the editing team.
In another post, he said: "Mixing at legendary #SkywalkerRanch Exciting to see and hear #Solo really coming together. We are becoming so eager to share the fun."
Howard took over directing duties from Phil Lord and Christopher Miller last June after the pair were fired due to ‘creative differences’.
"Unfortunately, our vision and process weren't aligned with our partners on this project. We normally aren't fans of the phrase 'creative differences' but for once this cliché is true," they said in a statement at the time.
Solo: A Star Wars Story stars Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke and Donald Glover. It’s due out on May 25th.
