The Thor 2 directing merry-go-round continues with the news that recently announced helmer, Patty Jenkins, has exited due to "creative differences."

Jenkins spoke to The Hollywood Reporter, and spewed "I have had a great time working at Marvel. We parted on very good terms, and I look forward to working with them again." The Monster director would've been the first woman to helm a feature for the fledging studio, after original shooter Kenneth Branagh dropped out also citing "creative differences." Marvel have a long history of such occurrences, but people never seem to walk away on bad terms - but walk away they do.

Attention will now turn to a replacement, with Mark Romanek apparently the early favourite. But he also pulled out of a film with a studio citing "creative differences" (Wolfman), so Marvel may want someone to simply churn out their vision. This will worry fans...
