This year's guest of honour at the Galway Film Fleadh is none other than John C. Reilly, the veteran character actor who's turned up in such films as Dewey Cox: The Walk Hard Story, Talladega Nights, Magnolia and more recently, Wreck-It Ralph.

The animated film about a videogame villain who tries to change his programming and become good drew favourable comparisons to the likes of Toy Story and Finding Nemo.

As you'd expect, it became a critical and commercial hit for Disney and today, at the Galway Film Fleadh, Reilly confirmed that he's signed on for the Wreck-It Ralph sequel.

As well as this, the first film's nods to other videogame characters - such as Bowser from Super Mario and M. Bison from Street Fighter - will be expanded upon.

It's understood Disney are in discussions with Nintendo over licensing over characters such as Mario & Luigi and Link from The Legend of Zelda.

So, what do we think? Are we excited for a Wreck-It Ralph sequel? Let us know in the comments!
