The Sandra Bullock starring female reboot of Ocean's Eleven has added James Corden to its cast. 

Ocean's Eight will see Sandra Bullock play the leader of a group of thieves who try to pull off a major heist. Said group includes Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna, and Helena Bonham Carter.

Damian Lewis will play the target of the gang's heist whose also the ex-lover of Bullock's character.

As for Corden, the report from Variety doesn't give any details as to his role beyond stating that he will play an insurance investigator. Given the fact that the cast is already fully stacked though, we don't expect the role to be much more than a cameo. 

Gary Ross (Seabiscuit, The Hunger Games) is writing and directing the film.
