Well, this shouldn't come as any surprise to anyone - It has managed to score a huge box office opening in the US.
So far, it's been reported that the Stephen King adaptation has managed to pull off the largest opening day for a horror film, an R-rated film, a September release, and the third-largest opening day in 2017 - topped only by Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 and Beauty and the Beast.
Early estimates for It put it at around $65,000,000 on opening weekend, however those figures have now been revised upwards to anywhere between $80,00,000 to $100,000,000 - and that's not even counting the international box office either.
All this news, however, comes off the back of a particularly devastating year for cinemas in the US, with audience figures plummeting a twenty-year low and almost $4 billion wiped off the value of three of America's largest cinema chains.
Here's what we thought of It.
