At first glance there doesn’t appear to be much of a difference in the look or costume this time around but we’re sure director Patty Jenkins has a few surprises up her sleeve.
This week Jenkins also revealed that Chris Pine’s character Steve Trevor will be returning, despite appearing to meet his maker in the first movie.
‘Wonder Woman 1984’ will see Gadot in the lead role face-off against comic book villain Cheetah, played by Kristen Wiig. Game of Thrones actor Pedro Pascal is also joining the cast.
After the huge box office success of Wonder Woman for DC, Jenkins was recently confirmed as the highest paid female director in the world.
‘Wonder Woman 1984’ is due to hit Irish cinemas in November, 2019.
