The first trailer for 'The Girl In The Spider's Web' gives us our first glimpse at Claire Foy in the role of Lisbeth Salander, previously played by Rooney Mara and Noomi Rapace.
Based on the novel by David Lagercrantz - the first in the Millennium series not written by Stieg Larsson - it's a suitably complicated story of NSA agents, Lisbeth Salander's murky past, and lots of freezing in the Swedish snow. You've also got 'Blade Runner 2049' alum Sylvia Hoeks as Camilla Salander, Lisbeth's twin sister who's been estranged from her since they were children.
Not featured in the trailer is Lakeith Stanfield, best known for his turn in 'Get Out' and the upcoming bonkers-but-brilliant satire 'Sorry To Bother You', as Alona Casales - an NSA agent who's been tasked with tracking Lisbeth Salander. Meanwhile, Svernir Gudnason - who played Bjorn Borg in the biopic 'Borg / McEnroe' - replaces Daniel Craig as Mikael Blomkvist.
'The Girl In The Spider's Web' arrives in Irish cinemas on November 9th.
