Having played Drax the Destroyer in the summer's biggest blockbuster, Guardians of the Galaxy, things look to be on the up and up for Dave Bautista.

We were surprisingly big fans of Bautista's performance as the man who was completely literal, Drax the Destroyer, in Guardians this summer, and it seems as though we weren't the only ones.

The former wrestler has bagged a role as the latest henchman in the next Bond movie, the 24th in the hugely successful franchise, which is due to start filming in December. So far, there isn't much to go on about the role that Bautista will play, but the character will be called Hinx, and the leaked casting report suggests they were looking for "an imposing, extremely physically fit actor" who has several scraps with Bond. We'd probably describe the boy Dave as being in half decent shape...

Anyway, it looks as though Bautista will be joining Daniel Craig, who's back as 007 (in case you've been living under a rock) and Sam Mendes, who will be behind the camera once again, with the movie expected to hit cinemas in October 2015.
