In what will surely be an Oscar contender before a frame has even been shot, Daniel Day-Lewis and director Paul Thomas Anderson will team once again (after There Will Be Blood) for a drama based in the fashion world.
As is typical with PTA projects, we know very little other than the film would be set in the 1950s and the script will also be written by the director.
Day-Lewis hasn't made a film since bagging an Oscar in 2012 for his portrayal of Abraham Lincoln and is notoriously fussy about what he works on. To be fair, if this project does move ahead, every other actor nominated that year might as well just stay home and pre-drink before the after party. Because no one will bet against the adopted Irishman.
