Thirty four years after the events of the original film, Top Gun: Maverick sees Captain Pete "Maverick" Mitchell (Tom Cruise) as a flight instructor at Top Gun, in which he guides Bradley (Miles Teller), Goose's son, who seeks to become an aviator much as his father was.
