Bad news for Hobbit fans, seems we'll be waiting until December 2014 to catch the final installment in Peter Jackson's latest trilogy, as they've pushed There And Back Again's release date, errr, back again.

Originally slated for a July 2014 release, Collider says the film's been delayed so as to avoid having to go head to head with Guardians of the Galaxy and X-Men: Days of Future Past at the box office. The new release date means that we'll have a Hobbit every Christmas for the next two years, but sure knowing Peter Jackson that could all change... We don't mind having to wait, as long as you're not off filming ANOTHER one.

As for the next installment in the franchise? Don't worry, The Desolation of Smaug is still due to hit our screens in December 2013. We'll just have to wait a little longer to get another look at Orlando Bloom in his Legolas attire. I know, I know book fans, he doesn't even go here...
