Bruce Willis is in negotiations to star as Kane in the film adaptation of the game Kane and Lynch: Dead Men. Game centred on two escaped convicts, one a former mercenary, the other a schizophrenic killer, who must track down a missing microchip. The game was most definitely influenced by Michael Mann’s films, most notably Heat, but it’s not clear if that’s the type of action they’ll go after here. Prolific second unit director Simon Crane is to make his lead helming debut with the film, having handled the action sequences for the likes of Mr and Mrs Smith and Hancock. He’s currently working on the other Bruce Willis actioner The Surrogates as a stunt coordinator.
