The planned biopic of cycling legend Lance Armstrong had stalled recently, when Jake Gyllenhaal was in line to play the seven time Tour de France winner. But Armstrong has, once again, gotten back on the bike, which has inspired producer Frank Marshall to get the wheels in motion with the project - by hiring Seabiscuit writer Gary Ross to pen a screenplay. The Hollywood Reporter is linking both Matt Damon and Gyllenhaal with the role once more, but nothing is concrete, with no director set; although Marshall is apparently toying with the idea of helming also. It'd make a fantastic film, but something tells me Armstrong isn't finished yet, so maybe these guys should hold off until then...
