More speculation has surfaced about the Fantastic Four reboot...

With Adrien Brody, Jonathon Rhys Myers, Alice Eve and Amber Heard all being linked to parts, attention has now turned to who may be directing. Funding studio 20th Century Fox are apparently trying to decide between Joe Carnahan (The brilliant Narc and The A-Team), David Yates (Last couple of Harry Potter flicks) and James McTeigue (V For Vendetta, the nonsensical Ninja Assassin) for megaphone duties.

If Carnahan was allowed really push his own slant on it, then I'd love to see him helm; but although The A-Team was fun, it wasn't the talented writer/director at full throttle. Hence, I'd rather see him take on something more intimate than another franchise starter. McTeigue lost me with Ninja Assassin, which was a complete mess. Yates could very well be the dark horse of the three.
