They've all been cast in new movies, that's what. Yes, it's been another busy week in Hollywood, with plenty of new movies being lined up, as per usual. So, it's no surprise that we've got quite the bit of casting news to shar with you today. Here goes:

First out of the traps is Breaking Bad and Argo star Bryan Cranston. Himself and Casino Royale villain Mads Mikkelsen have both joined the cast of Kung Fu Panda 3 (yes, they're making another one). Deadline says the lads have joined Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect) for the Dreamworks sequel, which will also feature original cast members Jack Black and Angelina Jolie. The film is set for release on Christmas Day in 2015 Stateside, with no UK release date announced as of yet. In short, you'll be waiting a while.

Moving swiftly on, Jim Carrey has just signed up to star in a brand new comedy by the name of, wait for it, Ricky Stanicky. I know, right? That's some title. The Hollywood Reporter says the project will see Carrey teaming up with his Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls director Steve Oedekerk. Am I alone in preferring Pet Detective? Written by Oedekerk, the film follows three lads who have used their fictional friend Ricky Stanicky as an excuse to skip their engagements for two decades. When their other halves demand a meeting with tricky Ricky, the boys hire an actor to play him. Sure what could possibly go wrong?

And finally, the errr Hulk himself (we don't talk about that...) Eric Bana has just been announced as one of the leads in an upcoming paranormal police thriller. Deadline says he's joining Newsroom star Olivia Munn and Edgar Ramirez (Wrath of The Titans, Zero Dark Thirty) in Beware The Night, which will start shooting in New York in May. Sinister's Scott Derrickson will direct the film, while the script comes courtesy of himself and his Exorcism of Emily Rose collaborator Paul Boardman. Should be spooky so.
