It is just never going to end, and when it finally does end, they'll just f**king reboot it. Three more Saw sequels are in full-on development, with main bad dude Tobin Bell confirming that they would go to at least a Saw 8. The reason this drivel keeps getting made is because people keep paying to see it. These films open with more money than the likes of infinitely superior efforts like The Mist and The Last House on the Left make in their entire runs. That is depressing, and as I've said before, the Saw films ultimately are bad for smart horror. Audiences just expect instant gratification after seeing that gore-porn muck. Eh, rant over...
