Jay Z has released the trailer for his upcoming movie documentary Made in America. The documentary follows the first two day Made in America festival which took place in Philadelphia last year, which Jay Z himself headlined and organised. The movie, directed by Ron Joward, is set to debut at the Toronto Film Festival next week and has also been picked up by US network Showtime to be aired on the 11th October.

Speaking about the doc, Showtime President David Nevins said, 'Ron Howard and Jay Z have crafted an inspirational portrayal of American resilience, drive and creativity, interwoven with an incredible showcase of musical talent. We are proud to bring Made In America to Showtime where it joins our impressive roster of provocative and compelling documentaries helmed by award-winning filmmakers.'

The film which is shot through Jay Z's perspective will also feature guest appearances from Pearl Jam, Drake, Tyler, the Creator, Rita Ora, Skrillex Run DMC, Passion Pit, and Janelle Monae. This years Made in America concert took place over the weekend. Beyonce, Nine Inch Nails, Queens Of The Stone Age,Phoenix, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Solange, Emeli Sandé, Haim, are some of the great acts that took to the stage.
