Being honest, we weren't really gone on the first Hot Tub Time Machine - especially since it had Chevy Chase in it.

Man, remember when he was funny? Caddyshack? National Lampoon's Vacation? Early episodes of Community? Good times.

Anyway, a sequel was put in motion because the first Hot Tub Time Machine did reasonably well and here we are, sans John Cusack.

Craig Robinson, Rob Corddry and Clark Duke AKA that other guy from The Office are back and living the high life as they've used the time machine for their own gain.

However, when they mistakenly jump forward to 2025 and discover their lives have all gone haywire, they have to rejig the past to save their future.

Initial thoughts? At the very least, it looks like it's somewhat self-aware ala 22 Jump Street - so that's something.

The trailer for the first one had us interested because who doesn't like high-concept comedies, right?

It did not, of course, live up to our expectations - but coming at this with the first one in mind, this could be an improvement.

For one, John Cusack has been rightfully jettisoned and replaced with the always funny Adam Scott, so that's a plus.

We'll have to wait until February 2015 to see how it all works out.
