Have you ever watched a big summer blockbuster wondered how the hell it cost $200m to make this piece of crap?

Of course you have. We all have. So Variety have take it upon themselves to put together this video that roughly estimates how much each actor and crew member is paid for their contribution to the movie. They use an end credits format to break down the everyone's payment on the film.

All of these estimates are based on average union rates as calculated by a consultant whom the video reveals was paid $500 for their time.

That's one lucky cat! Of course this doesn't take into account the fact that some of the actors might only have several days worth of work for their hefty fees while some members of the effects team could be spending months slaving away for their modest salaries. However it does give a clearer indication of where all that money goes on these blockbusters.
