Yesterday we reported that the first images of Alexander Skarsgard in action as Tarzan had surfaced and now there is a shiny new teaser trailer to go with it. 

So as was reported yesterday the film will see our hero return to the Congo after years away in Victorian London where he has become a civilised gentleman in society (much to the disgust of Samuel L. Jackson's character). 

While in Congo, it looks like Tarzan and his wife Jane (Margot Robbie who oddly seems to have an American accent) are unknowingly used as pawns by baddie Christoph Waltz. Other obstacles for Tarzan seem to be Djimon Hounsou and his local tribe as well as Tarzan's former simian family who don't seem all that pleased with his return (at least that's what all the punching would suggest.)

All in all it looks like its going to be an epic re-telling of Edgar Rice Burroughs' original tale. 

The Legend of Tarzan will arrive on our screens next July.
