Are you ready for the end of the world? Because that's what Bryan Singer is bringing you in 'X-Men: Apocalypse'.

Set up as the conclusion of the newer X-Men trilogy, 'X-Men: Apocalypse' sees the titular Apocalypse, the first ever mutant and played by Oscar Isaac, awakening in the 1980s and going about cleansing the world of humans and mutants alike that don't live up to his expectations.

The ones that do include Michael Fassbender's Magneto and Olivia Munn's Psylocke, and the ones that don't are the-soon-to-be-bald Charles Xavier (James McAvoy), a very blonde-Katniss Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence) and a heap of younger new mutants to fill out the ranks on both sides (including Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner and Peter Beale himself Ben Hardy).

Starring *deep breath* James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Olivia Munn, Lucas Till, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Alexandra Shipp, Josh Helman, Lana Condor and Ben Hardy, the third film in the X-Men franchise reboot is going to be even more packed than the last one, so fingers crossed it lives up the hype.

'X-Men: Apocalypse' is expected in Irish cinemas on May 19th, 2016.
